One (1) 1/4" 15 & 30 IPS MRL Two-Speed Short Four Frequency Calibration Tape (See below)

You are purchasing a brand new Two-Speed Short Four Frequency Calibration Tape form Magnetic Reference Laboratory (MRL). The tape is 1/4" on a reel. The speed is 15 IPS IEC or NAB & 30 IPS AES.

The four frequencies of the tape are 1 kHz, 10 kHz, 16 kHz, and 100 Hz
This tape will be at +3db (250 nWb/m) or +6db (355 nWb/m)
The tape is 4 minutes long, with 1 minute for each frequency.
Please specify whether you want NAB or IEC1 equalization for the 15 IPS.
The 30 IPS is AES equalization.

Alignment tapes, aka calibration or reference tapes, are required to properly set play back on any given tape deck. The alignment tape contains various signals, and array of frequencies, that let the operator setup a tape deck for playback prior to record alignment. We are an authorized dealer of MRL Tapes, which are very reliable. Please consult our resident experts if you have a question as to what alignment tape you should be using for your deck.

This alignment tape is custom recorded on RTM SM911 by MRL.

In the event of a tape emergency, message us for expedited shipping. Handling time is generally 2 or 3 days, but may be 5 at the most.

There are no returns as each tape is custom made with exception of replacement for defect.
